So last weekend I was introduced to the world of healthy and tasty breakfasts by Weanie Beans. I was invited to the Weanie Beans breakfast by Jessica from Food & Baker, unfortunately James (the other half) couldn’t make it so she asked me to join her. Free breakfast and meeting new people, how could I say no?

We were greet at the door by the lovely Jess from Jess Eating East who led us into the warm roastery. The moment we walked in, I could smell the aroma of fresh coffee and see it being made by Pepe the roaster. We were introduced to Adeline, the owner of Weanie Beans and other blogger and non-bloggers in attendance.

How great does this breakfast look?! Yes – it did taste as good as it looks. After we were welcomed by the team and other guests, we were sat down to an abundance of great food. I sat down, looked at the food on offer and was not quite sure where to start. So I thought, go for the blogger looking breakfast LOL. I had passion fruit yogurt from The Collective, blended raspberries, granola by Troo Granola, Chia Bia chia seeds with almond milk and a fresh strawberry. It was definitely the healthiest breakfast I had ever had.

My first ever coffee made by the amazing Jess (@JessEatingEast).

This juice by Moju was strangely nice, I am not the biggest fan of celery or kale but it all worked really well together and tasted super healthy.

Weanie Beans’ roastery, where the breakfast was held had a real cosy feel to it and a love pink and baby blue theme flowing through it.

Troo Granola – It was troo-ly amazing!

To top off a great morning, we were given goody bags to take away with us. I was obviously ecstatic when I saw the chia seeds from Chia Bia. We also got a Primal Pantry bar, Moringa satchet from Aduna, The Collective voucher – to grab our own pot and hot chocolate from Weanie Beans.
I am definitely a hot chocolate girl and I cannot wait to taste the Weanie Beans hot chocolate. I have been inspired to have more fruit bowls for breakfast – they are tasty, filling and of course healthy. I am also in LOVE with chia seeds with almond milk and I think that’ll have to be a regular breakfast affair.

Chia love,

Looks nice. How much of this would you be able to make on a morning before going to uni, do you think?

Keep having fun with the healthy eating!
