ITALIAN TOUR: ARMA DI TAGGIA – DAY 5 TO DAY 11: WORKING & LIVING

Life’s a beach.

As part of my Italian tour, I spent a week living and working in Arma di Taggia. I was sharing an apartment with a lovely bunch, where were cooked for ourselves – literally lived like true Italians.

I spent my mornings at the beach with one of my colleagues and the kids at beach camp. I loved it. Italian kids are honestly adorable and I love being in the water (despite the fact I can’t swim, haha). After work, I would have a nice night stroll around the town and usually finished with gelato.

It was a lovely week, a different experience. I felt like it was so nice and chilled, which I needed.

I definitely contemplated applying for the vacancy that opened up while I was out there, however I would prefer working in a busier city and in a different role then what was being offered. Who knows though? I do see myself working abroad at some point in my life.

Have you ever lived and worked abroad? Or do you have the desire to at all? Let me know in the comments  (:
