THE ULTIMATE OCHO RIOS EXPERIENCE | MYSTIC MOUNTAIN

While planning my trip to Ocho Rios, I knew that I would have one full day and I wanted to make the most of it. What better way then to have an adventure at Mystic Mountain!

At Mystic Mountain, your adventure begins with a sky lift (ski lift) overlooking the beautiful views of Ocho Rios. The clear skies, blue sea – it was absolutely breath-taking. Typically, I am not a heights person and the lift was long distance and didn’t feel the most secure so I was slightly nervous. However, it was worth it for those views.

As we were going to experience the Tranopy Tour, the first stop was the bobsled. Inspired by the movie ‘Cool Runnings’ and Jamaica’s first ever bobsled team, they have replica bobsleds that have you wizzing through the rainforest. I love the adrenaline rush, so I really enjoyed this and the bonus is that I was able to ride the bobsled twice.

We also had time to take a trip to the restaurant before zip-lining. The view from the restaurant was second to none. I opted in for a cocktail and chicken wings as I wanted something light. Soon after I had finished, our group was ready to get geared up for the zip-lining course.

Just call me Jane and send me my Tarzan. I love the adrenaline you get from zip-lining. At some parts of the course, you’re swinging over people bobsledding. It was a great day with the most amazing views.

If you’re ever in Jamaica, head over to Ocho Rios and experience one of the Mystic Mountain tours. They do also operate in several other countries, so check out their website for details.

I was given complimentary passes for Mystic Mountain. All opinions are my own and are honest.
