ASHLEEMOYO.COM started as a “lifestyle” blog and I tried to keep up with the traditional trends, but that died out quickly and I decided to stay true to Ashlee Moyo (myself). Summer of 2016, with 3 weeks in Italy coming up and another 3 weeks in China around the corner, I decided to relaunch as a travel blog. ASHLEEMOYO.COM showcases beautiful destinations around the world, travelling on a budget, solo travel and in particular, female solo travelling.
While I am not in the sky, I experience travel through my taste buds – enjoying tasting the many flavours of the world in my home city. My blog provides honest reviews and opinions on hotels, hostels, tours and other travel (and life) essentials.
While I’m not blogging or editing YouTube videos (yes, I have a YouTube channel – CHECK IT OUT), I am with my first life love – event organising. Partnering my love of event organising, meeting people and blogging – in February 2017, BloggersAreUs was born. BloggersAreUs was created to encourage diversity in the blogging community, connect bloggers with each other and brands. We focus on encouraging and supporting all bloggers regardless of their ethnicity or genre. BloggersAreUs has regular brunches, which are a great opportunity for bloggers/influencers, brands and restaurants to connect.
LITTLE BIT MORE ON ASHLEE…
Besides an undying love for travel, this born and raised Londoner is a huge foodie and loves to dance. Bachata and Salsa are my styles of choice, not that I can actually dance either properly – I try. I am currently teaching myself how to speak Spanish and Italian, if you read my posts from Italy or follow me on Instagram (FOLLOW ME) – you’ll know I spend a lot of time there.
I am constantly broody, but I don’t plan on having kids anytime soon. I have an adorable baby brother (he’s not a baby) and an adorable little Godson that I love spending time with. Honestly, I’ll play all the imaginary games, pretend to be a horsey and what Paw Patrol and Horrid Henry all day.
I LOVE dogs, while I was travelling and I would see adorable puppies I would ask their owners “Can I hold him/her?” – I’ve obviously got one of those faces so the answer was always yes. Since I live at home and my Mumma isn’t an animal person, I have been taking my friends beautiful Husky-Japanese Atika cross for walks. I also plan to start volunteering at a kennel or sorting out my BorrowMyDoggy profile and start building relationships.

And just having a sense of humour that is just as great as mine – haha!
