#BloggersAreUs took place on Saturday 11th February 2017. I started planning back in November 2016 and time definitely flew. The aim of the event was to give blogger and vloggers/YouTubers the opportunity to meet brands and each other. After experiencing my first blogger event and meeting loads of lovely bloggers online, I thought it would be great to organise my own blogger event. I had a great experience organising #BloggersAreUs and I cannot wait to organise my next blogger meet up.

As part of #BloggersAreUs, I had six different brands have stalls and one brand that came to mingle with attendees. I definitely loved these brands and I am sure that those who attended #BloggersAreUs did too.

Dray N Blue

Dray N Blue was founded by Rochelle who after her pregnancy with her last son decided to start fashion line full-time. I really loved Dray N Blue and these photos do not do the clothing justice. They are made from great quality material and are suitable for all body types. One of the best parts of the Dray N Blue tracksuits is you can wear them casually or dress them up. The dark grey tracksuit is definitely my favourite and I will definitely be getting one as they are very affordable.

Make sure to have a look at their website and social media pages!

The Perfume Studio

The Perfume Studio was extremely popular as everyone was able to create their own signature scents. It was definitely an exciting and new experience as they got to learn about different under tones and what goes into perfume making. I didn’t get to make my own fragrance as I was busy mingling and all the other good stuff event organisers do LOL. Hopefully at the next event I do I will be able to make my own scent. I am a big fan of sweet smells and vanilla undertones. The Perfume Studio can be found here and here.

Take a look at the hashtag #BloggersAreUs on Twitter and Instagram to see what fragrances the bloggers came up with.

The next brand that showcased their product was Naticuma a skin care brand with ingredients from the Amazonian rainforest. Nilza from Naticuma brought along some products for guests to try and some were lucky enough to take some products home with them. I really liked Naticuma’s products, because as well as feeling really hydrating, they smelt good too.

Have a look at their products here.

LiLy SaNa Haircare

LiLy SaNa HairCare was founded by a lovely lady called Lisa who wanted to bring salon quality haircare to the home. LiLy SaNa HairCare products are suitable for all hair types and are also quite versatile. I definitely hope to try some of their products as I love what the aims of the brand are – bringing great quality and affordable products to the everyday girl.

Have a look at LiLy SaNa HairCare’s Instagram for photos of the products in action.

Ayo’s Cakes

If you missed out on #BloggersAreUs, you definitely missed out on these taste treats. They were brought to #BloggersAreUs by Ayo’s Cakes. Ayo’s Cakes is a start up company that do bespoke cupcakes and cakes for all occasions. We were lucky to have different flavoured cupcakes and pastries to try which were SO GOOD! I have a bit of a sweet tooth sometimes so this was definitely hitting the spots. Ayo’s Cakes also had a flat lay competition where the winners could win a box of treats including chocolate bark, shortbread, pastries and a loaf cake. I managed to grab an extra box and they were all really YUMMY!

Check out Ayo’s Cakes on Instagram here to see more of their yummy treats,

Kainat Crystals

Kainat Crystals by Tehmina Ahmed is a bespoke clothing brand that hand-sew crystals onto clothing. They can create t-shirts based on custom designs or add a bit of sparkle to your own clothing. They use great quality crystals and Tehmina sources them herself. I love that you can create designs that match you and there will be no other product identical to yours. I have a plan black H&M cardigan which I will design be wanting to add some sparkle to.

Have look at the Instagram and get in touch to add some sparkle to your clothing.

As the afternoon went on and people said they were heading off, I thought it would be great to get everyone to take a compulsory selfie with me. It was great meeting such a lovely bunch of girls and I hope to see them all at the next event. Unfortunately I didn’t get a selfie with everyone, so I think that is more reason to organise a meet up very soon LOL.

It was great finally getting to meet some bloggers that I had met on Twitter and to meet the faces behind the brands I’d been in contact with via email. Everyone was saying thank you and well done; which really made me smile. These are girls I have only just met and they were showing me so much love and support. Thank you guys; I love and appreciate you all! <3
