On Saturday 21st October, the first in a series of brunches by myself (bloggersareus) and Food and Baker took place.

#BrunchingBloggers was created as an opportunity to bring together bloggers in a cute and comfortable setting (with food of course). Being smaller bloggers, we are not always invited to the big events by large brands and so we feel it’s important to give all bloggers somewhere to meet and connect. Celebrating and encouraging diversity in the blogging community is important to us. We want all niches, genders, races and experience levels at our brunches.

Annie’s Restaurant I’m located in the lovely area of Chiswick, London by the river. Annie’s has a cute decor and a cosy atmosphere which was perfect for our brunch.

We started by going around the table and having everyone introduce themselves and their blog. It was great hearing the story behind everyone’s blog and what their hopes for their blogs are. In true blogger fashion, we had a follow train, exchanging social media handles.

When the food came, so did silence – haha. After taking photos, Snapchats and Insta-stories of our food, we all dug straight in. It was mouth-watering. I chose the Eggs Royale, smoked salmon, free range eggs, English muffin, hollandaise and home fries. Best choice I’d say. I could honestly have eaten another plate of it.

After the brunch we went outside to take a couple of group photos and then headed for our designated train stations and bus stops. It was a cute morning, definitely the best way to start the day.

Thank you to all the lovely bloggers that joined us and to Annie’s Restaurant for hosting us. Also thank you to the Candy Kittens, Vieve Drinks and Ape Snacks for our amazing goodie bag treats.

Follow @bloggersareus_ to keep up to date with all our events. We would love to see you at the next #BrunchingBloggers.
