JAPANESE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH ANYONE?

Bottomless brunch is always a good idea, but have you tried Japanese bottomless brunch?

Hear me out. Think… prosecco glass never empty (unless you want it to be), unlimited maki rolls, all the sashimi your heart desires and more.

Issho-Ni invited me to experience their Japanese bottomless brunch. The brunch takes place every Saturday at their restaurant located in Bethnal Green, approximately a 5 minute bus journey from the station (Bethnal Green Station – Central Line).

Personally, Japanese food is not my favourite, but I don’t dislike it, it’s just not my go-to. I’m always open to trying new foods and it was a great opportunity to spend time with my friend Roni who I hadn’t seen in about a year. Roni is a big fan of sushi, so it was an ideal catch-up date.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. BOTTOMLESS DRINKS
For bottomless drinks, you can choose from prosecco or a Bloody Geisha.
  2. SNACKS AND SASHIMI
You are given unlimited snacks and sashimi.
Snacks include: Edamame, Chuka seaweed, Kimchi, Wasabi peas
    Sashimi: Salmon and Seabass
Maki Rolls: Salmon Avocado, Prawn Tempura, Spicy Salmon, Veggie

  3. MAIN COURSE
After you have unlimited snacks and sashimi, you get to pick from a variety of main courses.
Options: Vegetable Tempura, Nasu Dengaku, Chicken Katsu Curry, Wagyu Steak and Chicken Teriyaki

MY FAVOURITES

My favourite was the spicy salmon maki rolls. I could have had only them bottomless and would have been completely satisfied – haha! But, if you’re not the biggest fan of spice, these are fine. The spice didn’t burn your taste buds, they added flavour.

I can get quite picky when it comes to textures, so the sashimi wasn’t ideal for me, however… I really enjoyed the seabass sashimi. It was something I had never tried before, but I would definitely recommend it.

For the main, I ordered the Wagyu Steak and Roni ordered Salmon Teriyaki. Generally, I enjoy steak, so that’s why I went for it but I didn’t like it because I’m a medium/medium-well kind of girl – haha. Roni and I swapped and she loved it, said it was cooked perfectly.

I was invited as a guest to attend the bottomless brunch and given complimentary tickets for myself and a plus one. As always, my opinions are honest and my own.
