Thank you Italia. You’ve honestly done it again.

Italia has always been the country to fix me after something a little traumatic, huge falling out with best friend, break up, failed event; but now you’re just a happy place. This last trip to Italy wasn’t putting plasters, bandages or casts on any wounds. I was returning to a country that I have fallen in love with.

Between all the cities i visited and pass through, I don’t think I could pick a favourite. I met amazing people at each destination and was shown nothing but love the whole time I was in Italy. The best gelato was definitely in Turin, however the white chocolate gelato I had in Rome was overall the best. Other than the AMAZING food my family in Zapponeta cooked, I definitely ate the best in Venice. Thank you Walks Of Italy for the squid ink spaghetti.

I spent about 3 weeks in Italy and within those weeks, days, hours – I found true happiness. Not the kind you get temporarily, but actual happiness from inside. I was proud of myself and all my accomplishments, I’ve become proud and happy with the person I’ve become.

I learnt about myself, who I want to be and what I want to do with my life. It’s onwards and upwards from here. Some may say that it could happen anywhere, however Italy is my special place.

Thank you Italy for making me smile. I love you forever and always (:
