Havana, Cuba is one of the most colourful and lively cities in the world. This beautiful city offers you time travel, culture, history and a great dose of SALSA!
You could spend hours wondering around Havana, discovering new things on every corner. One of the best parts about Havana, Cuba is the locals. They are so full of love and more than happy to show you around their favourite parts of their city. Havana is one of the world’s safest cities, with the locals looking out for you if you need them.
For a magical evening in Havana, spend your evening watching the sunset at the Malecon. You’ll find locals playing music and dancing, particularly the youth of Havana – who would welcome you to join them with open arms. Or, have sunset cocktails at the rooftop bar of Hotel Ambos Mundos and take in the historical and beautiful views of the city as the sun goes down.
For those of you that love history and culture, there’s a story on every corner. Museo de la Revolución is the perfect place to learn about Cuban history. The museum also showcases Cuban’s pre-Columbia culture to it’s present day. You can also have a seat with the locals playing dominos and as ask them about life in Cuba – you may need a bit of Spanish for those who are older.
