Rome is definitely one of my favourite cities, its full of life and AMAZING food! Its quite a diverse city and has a lot to offer. I travelled to Rome on a solo trip and had an incredible time. I stayed at Generator Hostel Rome where I met some lovely ladies and explored some of Rome with them. The best part about the city is that everything is within walking distance from each other, I was looking for a shopping centre one evening and stumbled across Fontana Di Trevi (Trevi Fountain). I am definitely in love with Rome and I can see myself visiting there regularly.

During my 7 days in Rome, I walked around the city over and over. Indulging in Italian culture and food, discovering parts of the city you wouldn’t find on a tourist map. One of the highlights of my trip was the Vatican City and Sistine Chapel – it was beautiful, absolutely breath-taking. I spent time thinking and reflecting on life and I left Rome feeling great about life and looking at things in a very positive perspective.

Rome is the city of echoes, the city of illusions, and the city of yearnings.

Have you ever been to Rome or planning a trip to Rome soon? Let me know in the comments (:

Rome is stunning, I’ve been there once before but I’d love to go back, especially with James. It’s definitely in the plan to go to Italy next year and hopefully do the full works as well as Rome!

Wonderful photos! For me, when it comes to Rome, it’s just enough to say the name of this ancient city and I am already on my way to the airport 🙂
